Super Talent has recently announced its latest value-for-money solid state drive (SSD) known as the Super Talent VSSD, where proud new owners of this device will be able to experience a shorter operating system bootup time, speedier faster application loading and less power consumption. The VSSD will play nice with a 3Gbps SATA-II bandwidth, and is capable of touching sequential read speeds up to 150 MB/sec and sequential write speeds up to 100 MB/sec. You will be able to choose from various capacities to suit your budget, where the 8GB model is going for $65 thereabouts while folks who opt for the 64GB model will have to fork out around $175 for one. While SSDs are faster than hard drives and could prove to be more stable since there are no moving parts, it is still pricier although that is now not too much a “con” as it used to be.
