TELUS Motorola Milestone Finally Gets The Android 2.1 Update Too

Good news for folks who are running a Motorola Milestone on TELUS. You’re now able to get hold of the Android 2.1 update, and you don’t even need to be in Hong Kong. The slight downside is that you won’t be able to get an over-the-air (OTA) upgrade like Verizon’s Motorola Droid, but you are able to download it directly from Motorola’s website. Improvements include the ability to add more home screens, more widgets, animated wallpapers, updated Google Maps with pinch-to-zoom and a few others. As usual, remember to backup your files and settings before attempting an upgrade.
