Toshiba has released its MK2060GSC small form factor hard drive which maxes out at 200GB (although you can choose from the 100GB capacity if you want to) will have 4,200RPM rotational speed, boasting an operating temperature that ranges from -22 to 185F alongside vibration resistance of up to 2Gs and operational shock survivability of up to 300Gs. The main reason behind all of these would be this – the Toshiba MK2060GSC is meant to see action in vehicles as part of an in-car infotainment system. No idea on pricing, but it ought to hit the market later this third quarter. [Press Release]
