There will be an updated version of Windows Home Server where it has been called Vail. Among the primary changes include media streaming extended to outside the home or office, strides forward in multi-PC backup and restore, a much more headache free setup and user experience alongside expanded development and customization tools. If you’re willing to give this beta a go, we would highly recommend you use a secondary machine (that also after making a backup), since Microsoft won’t be held responsible if things go awry.
