Yokowo of Japan have come up with a prototype device which can light an LED lamp with a wireless power feeding system thanks to magnetic field resonance. The power transmission efficiency is pretty impressive as well, touching at least 85% as long as the transmission distance remains between 5mm to 10mm. The LED lamp itself is powered by 10mW of juice, and Yokowo hopes to commercialize this device within the next couple of years. Wireless is the way of the future, and wireless juice could very well be the next big thing!
