Acer Aspire 1825PT arrives in the UK

While the Acer Aspire 1825PT has yet to arrive Stateside, it has just hit the market in the UK, where this 11.6″ convertible tablet-style notebook is available for pre-order. What can you expect from it? Well for starters, it has an 11.6″ 1,366 x 768 pixel capacitive multitouch display and Intel GMA 4500MHD graphics to get you started, which means you can forget about playing intensive games on this since it is more suited for office work. You can opt for either an Intel Pentium dual core SU4100 or Intel Core 2 Duo SU7300 CULV processor, while with enough budget from the management, you can cram in up to 8GB of DDR3 memory. Just in case the Wi-Fi connectivity (maxes out at 802.11g which is strange as most notebooks these days support 802.11n) isn’t enough for you to remain connected, there is always the option to throw in a 3G module. Prices start from £700 upwards, depending on what you throw inside. Any takers?
