The Aigo Walkshow NX7001 is a MID that runs on the Maemo OS, which is similar to what the Nokia N900 is powered by. In order to make sure you have the most common options available to connect to the Internet, the Walkshow NX7001 will come with 3G connectivity as well as Wi-Fi support, which is accompanied by a GPS and Bluetooth module. With Maemo, you can more or less use the device to perform tasks as though you were using a desktop PC, although the speed at which you do it would be limited by hardware specifications, of course. Other features include a resistive 16:9 4.3″ touchscreen display at 800 × 480 resolution, a couple of cameras (2-megapixel and VGA), a Marvell PXA310 806MHz processor, 128MB RAM, a microSD memory card slot and NAND flash memory. Expect the Aigo Walkshow NX7001 to retail in the region of $500 thereabouts.
