Last night, Google has started rolling out the Android 2.2 Update to select Nexus One users. At the moment, only Nexus One phones that have been loaned/given to the press have been updated. So far, the first reports are good and all the promised features are there, including speed boost, Flash 10.1 and Tethering.
Now, if you are a Nexus One owner, you can stop staring at your Nexus One for now. It seems that the general public release will come later. That said, if you really can’t live without Android 2.2 (aka FroYo), there might be a (dangerous?) solution for you: install it yourself: Androidpolice has a 2.2 upgrade guide here, but do it at your own risk.
