
You know what they say – perception can be very different from reality, and sometimes statistics as well as data offers some concrete evidence that is contrary to popular belief. The NPD group has come up with data which could possibly point to the iPhone being outsold by Android handsets for the first time Stateside, with the latter capturing 28% of market share while the iPhone lagging behind by 7%. Of course, this takes into consideration all Android-powered phones and not just a particular model. What do you make of this – could this be a turning point with the iPhone 3GS being the zenith of Apple’s achievements, or do you think that the iPhone 4GS will usher in a new golden era?
