Android-powered HTC Aria For AT&T

Details are still a little sketchy at the moment, but word is going around that AT&T will be unveiling an Android-powered device on June 7th, which actually coincides with WWDC 2010, meaning that it has a high chance of being overshadowed by the announcement of the iPhone 4G. Technical details aren’t available just yet, but if the leak is accurate, the device will be powered by Android 2.1 and will also sport HTC’s Sense UI.

Android Android is mobile operating system from Google. The software was originally built by a company called Android Inc, that was purchased by Google in 2005. From its modest debuts, Android has become a powerhouse that powers not only smartphones and tablet, but a host of other less high-profile devices and gadgets. Although Android is not a community-driven project, Google does release the source code as open-source under the Apache license.
