Looks like the end is nigh for the iPhone 3G. With Walmart lowering the price of the iPhone 3GS, what do you think is the fate of the humble iPhone 3G? If you’ve been shopping around the Apple online store today, you may have noticed that the button to select the 8GB iPhone 3G has disappeared from the Apple store. Usually if an item is out of stock at the Apple store, it’s listed as such, this time however, there isn’t any mention of what’s happening to the iPhone 3G, which more or less does make us assume that it might be consigned into the history books soon.
