
When people talk about biometric sensors, you’d more or less think about fingerprint scanners, but Apple has a rather novel way to identify users. In a recent patent filing, it seems that the fruity company has an idea to integrate cardiac sensors into the iPhone, so the phone is able to monitor your heart rhythm and identify the person holding the device. Maybe with this is place, it’d be an easy way to secure your iPhone from prying eyes, since your phone would be able to tell when you (and not someone else) is holding the phone.
