Word is going around that Asus is planning to churn out a netbook that will support a removable phone. The idea behind this is that you’ll be able to share a SIM card and data plan between the netbook and the phone, without having to have another device handy. You might have heard of the company behind the phone – Modu. We’ve previously touched on some phones from Modu, which offer interchangeable covers depending on the features needed, which would be in line with this idea, probably making the whole netbook a “phone cover” if you look at it from another perspective.
