Asus U-Bamboo and NX/N/U series notebooks unveiled

Asus has unveiled its U-Bamboo and NX/N/U series notebooks recently, where the former will boast a chassis that is made of bamboo – just make sure no pandas are in the vicinity to rip it apart out of hunger. You will be able to choose from 13.3”, 14.1” and 15.6” panels, Intel’s Core i5-450M processor, Nvidia GeForce 310M 1GB dedicated graphics that ought to go some lengths in offering a decent portable gaming experience and USB 3.0 support to keep it future proof – at least for a while. As for the NX90JQ, this model will run on the faster Intel Core i7-720QM processor, featuring an Nvidia GeForce 334M 1GB graphics card, a whopping 8GB RAM, 1TB of hard drive storage, USB 3.0 connectivity and Sonic Master audio technology which offers superior audio quality on-the-go. Depending on the model of choice, the U-Bamboo series will retail anywhere from $1,288 to $1,351 when it hits the market in the middle of June onwards, while the NX90JQ will follow up the month after for $2,680 thereabouts.
