If you’ve played Blizzard’s more popular games, you’ll know of the gaming company’s online service – Battle.net, allowing players to easily play multiplayer games with each other. Now the company plans to harness the power of social networking as well, as it has announced the integration of Battle.net and Facebook. So when the highly anticipated Starcraft II: Wings of Liberty sequel is launched on July 27th, you’ll be able to share in-game activities and accomplishments directly with your friends on Facebook. Sounds like a great way to stay competitive and spread the word of the game around. Of course, if your mom is on your Facebook friends list, you might not want her to know that you’ve been gaming the whole day…
