It seems that honesty is no longer the best policy for many people these days, and with the amount of wheeling and dealing going on, it is no surprise that even lies find its way into a court. Of course, it is up to an equally sharp lawyer to spot those lies and break it down in a cross examination, but they could be aided in the future with brain-scanning lie detectors. Of course, the accuracy level is still nowhere near 100% which could prove decisive in a case where the verdict might condemn a man/woman to a death sentence, but surely it cannot be bribed with money during the scanning process to influence its results, right?
