Corsair offers class-leading performance with 60GB, 120GB, and 240GB Force Series Solid-State Drives

Solid State Drives (SSDs) have gotten yet another champion, nay, three more champions from Corsair as they roll out 60GB, 120GB and 240GB models from their Force Series which are otherwise known as the F60, F120 and F240, respectively. A snap to remember the model number which is intricately linked to its capacity, eh? Clever. All of them will feature the SandForce SF-1200 SSD processor that promises to offer 4K random write performance of 180MB/sec. The three models will also support the maximum throughput specification of 285MB/s read and 275MB/s write just to whet your appetite. Sure, the cost-per-GB factor still comes into consideration when you compare SSDs and hard drives, but it really depends on what you want/need. Expect the F60, F120 and F240 to hit the market next month for a yet undisclosed price. [Press Release]
