In what is another step towards social networking domination, Facebook has just announced a zero version of its online service – 0.facebook.com. The address leads you to a stripped down, text-only version of the site that won’t incur any costs to your mobile bill. Sure, you won’t be able to enjoy all those funny YouTube videos that your friends post, but at least you’ll have easy access to their status updates. The service is being rolled out in partnership with carriers in various countries, so check it out, and see if you have free mobile access to Facebook. This certainly won’t be doing anything to help folks curb their Facebook addictions, but oh well. Check out a list of supported countries and carriers after the jump.
