FCC takes a gander at Dell Latitude 2110

The latest Dell machine to go through the paces of the FCC would be the Dell Latitude 2110, where this business-and-education oriented netbook comes in a bulky and semi-rugged design. It will carry an Intel wireless card with support for 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi and WiMAX connectivity, which is why it has made the trip over to the FCC. Guess WiMAX is getting more and more common these days, so it would be prudent for hardware manufacturers to at least leave an avenue open for such a device, as having an Internet connection on hand is always useful regardless of where you are. Just because it has made it to the FCC doesn’t mean it will be released on a wide scale, so you might just have to wait a little while longer for Dell to make an official announcement on the Latitude 2110.
