FCC takes a look at Acer Liquid Stream

Acer’s Liquid Stream Android-powered smartphone has landed at the FCC, which means the smartphone should be ready to rock the consumer market in due time assuming a carrier decides to introduce it. While it has been reported that the Liquid Stream will run on Android 2.1, we’re still holding out that it will be one version better upon release, which will go down very nicely with a 1GHz Snapdragon processor, 5-megapixel camera with 720p video capture capability, and 850/1900MHz HSPA connectivity. Apparently, this ought to hit the market when October rolls around, but we’ll see about it when the time comes, eh? Just in case the handset looks familiar, it is also known as the Acer S110.
