Fring Brings Video Calling Feature To Android Devices

Despite the many Android-powered devices going around nowadays, there aren’t too many apps out there that offer video calling on Android. The good news is that Fring, the popular communication software, is planning to offer such a feature to Android users. Considering that it seems like iPhone 4G users will be getting video calling, thanks to the likely inclusion of a front-facing camera, this move will come just in time for Android devices. Apparently the two-way mobile video calls will work better on smartphones with powerful CPUs and those that have a front-facing camera, such as Sprint’s HTC EVO 4G. Is video calling an important feature for you, or is it just another marketing gimmick?
