Fujitsu’s Teddy Bear Robot is currently being paraded at the Fujitsu Forum, where it boasts 13 sensors located all over its body, which in turn is able to provide it with around 300 behaviors as it interacts with its surroundings. Meant to motivate children and help stimulate the elderly and infirmed, this unique robot can smile back at you as you smile at it, while being capable of tracking your movement courtesy of its nose-mounted camera. No idea on how much such a robot will cost, but it definitely isn’t going to be anywhere near the price of a regular plush teddy bear. Considering the rather rotund belly, don’t you think these robotic teddies need some exercise?
