Get World Of Warcraft Running On Your iPad

While many folks claim to be able to run all sorts of programs on the iPad via a remote desktop client, it does feel like you’re cheating. The folks over at Gaikai are doing something similar, but slightly different. Instead of having you run a remote desktop connection, they will stream the game directly to your browser, allowing you to play various games. Now the company is busy working on iPad support, and has already teased us by releasing a picture of World of Warcraft running on the iPad in full screen. Everything about the game would be kept on Gaikai’s servers and streamed over using HTML5. While it’s not clear whether Apple would approve of a Gaikai app, but if they are able to allow you to run everything through the browser, there isn’t very much Apple can do to stop them either.
