The Hohrizontal 51 shelf is different from all the other wall shelves that you have seen in the past, simply because this one sports an iPod dock, thanks to the genius of German manufacturers Finite Elemente. Not only can you dock and charge your iPod on this shelf, it also comes equipped with a couple of 25W speakers as well as built-in pseudo surround sound capability, with the shelf good for up to 25kg of items. We would avoid placing liquids near it though, since you can’t quite tell when will an accident happen. Other connectivity features include an audio-in jack and composite video-out. It isn’t too cheap though at £430 a pop, but this is for sure a guaranteed conversation starter.
