HTC Hits Back At Apple With Patent Complaint

The legal drama is back in town, and after Apple made some noise over HTC and some of its patents, now it seems that HTC has decided to bite back, accusing Apple of infringing on five of its patents related to mobile technology, calling for the International Trade Commission to stop the import and sale of Apple’s iPad, iPod and iPhone. Which five patents were the issue wasn’t mentioned, so some detective work is needed. Such legal battles are quite common nowadays, and Apple is already busy with a similar case with Nokia over the iPad 3G. What do you think the outcome of this will be? Will Apple decide to settle with HTC in order to sort this issue out as soon as possible, or will Apple’s legal team be prepared to fight this issue in court?
