It is mostly unlikely for a company like HTC to come up with a tablet device that is specially geared towards female users, but that seems to be the case if what HTC vice president of European operations Dr. Florian Seiche, mentioned is serious about it. The executive claimed that in an in-house study, many women would prefer to use a tablet device to stay in touch with family and friends while watching some TV at the same time – hmmm, sounds like an iPad tacked on with a TV tuner, eh? While Dr. Florian remain tight lipped on other details concerning the tablet, there is a possibility of the Android OS seeing action in said device. We would think that a company like Samsung or LG would be more prone to a gender-specific device as they have certainly done so in the past.
