
Digitimes caught whiff that Intel will be lifting the restriction on hardware manufacturers when it comes to the use of their Atom processors in netbooks, where the latest news is 12.1″ will be the maximum display size for Atom-powered netbooks. After all, anything larger than that would be better off with faster and higher performance processors, not to mention being working notebooks that are much more suitable for work instead of a netbook that is meant more for portability as well as basic computing capabilities.
