Trying a different tack in the netbook/tablet device market is always a risky business and Litl surely knew that when it came up with its Webbook. But now it’s likely that the company has found out that sales isn’t all that hot, as it has decided to lower the asking price of its Webbook to $399, a huge drop from its original asking price of $699. Sure, it’s a nice device that can handle 720p video playback, but with the increasing popularity of Apple’s iPad, not to mention the many affordable netbooks that are in the market, you can’t help but wonder what the future will hold for the Litl Webbook.
