If you’re reluctant to get into the Internet billing trend, you can still stick to snail mail and have the luxury of being notified when new mail arrives, thanks to the Mailbox Sentry from Thanko. This device comes with a receiver and a transmitter that can be set up inside your post box, so when the mailman drops in your monthly bill, the receiver will notify you of the new mail. It’s good enough to receive a signal up to 100 meters away, so as long as your house isn’t huge, you should be good to go. It’s currently going for $91, though some would argue it would probably be better to just jump on the Internet billing bandwagon instead. What do you think?
