MAXroam Offers You A Micro SIM For Your iPad To Roam In Europe

If you have an iPad 3G but are travelling, chances are you’re going to be worried of the data roaming charges, which can be notoriously expensive. Fortunately if your destination is Europe, Cubic Telecom’s MAXroam has a solution for you. It’s offering a Micro SIM that is going for EUR75 ($94), and comes bundled with 50MB worth of data preloaded. The card allows you to use basic email and web browsing anywhere in Europe, while avoiding expensive roaming charges. If you need more than 50MB worth of data, you could always purchase a 10MB top up at EUR25 ($31) or pay another EUR75 for an additional 50MB. This SIM is currently up for pre-order and will be shipping on June 1st.

Update: It’s worth noting that AT&T offers data roaming at $60 for 50MB of data in more than 90 countries, so you might want to check out which is the best deal for you depending on your destination. It’s still nice to have choices, right?
