
MSI is slated to bring a new dual core Atom N550-powered netbook to the showfloor at Computex 2010, where it ought to speed things up a fair bit, assuming the software programmers actually make allowance in their code to take advantage of both cores when in use. Still, the bonus of having two cores to run all of your programming tasks is definitely something most ordinary folks would think of as advantageous but only if the software is properly written. Hopefully the battery life won’t suffer too much though, and we look forward to covering more details at Computex next month.
