New Google Chrome betas now available

The new batch of Google Chrome betas has just been released for Linux, Mac and Windows platforms, featuring claims that they offer major leaps in terms of performance. All three will sport JavaScript engines that run up to 35% faster in benchmarks like SunSpider. Apart from that, the beta releases are touted to double or triple the speed of the original Windows-only beta. Not only that, these test releases will also see the integration of Flash, where Adobe’s plugin has been updated to take advantage of Chrome’s own update engine, while offering integrated sandboxing to prevent Flash from crashing the browser or opening security vulnerabilities. No idea on when a final release is ready for the masses, but it does seem to be pretty stable at point of publishing even when in beta.
