Nexcopy jumps aboard the USB 3.0 bandwagon with a 16-port USB 3.0 duplicator that lets you copy USB flash drives at a peak rate of 65MB/s for a single flash drive, while the performance figures show a jump of up to 72MB/s with eight devices connected. As for USB 3.0 hard drives, data transfer speeds will hit 95MB/s. This figure is constant regardless of how many devices you hook up to it. Of course, you will need to have USB 3.0 flash drives to go along with it, otherwise it wouldn’t be able to live up to its fullest potential. No idea on the device’s pricing, but Nexcopy is selling USB 3.0 flash drives in 16GB and 32GB for $89 and $149, respectively, throwing in custom branding as an option if you so desire. We wonder whether USB flash drives given out at CES next year will sport the USB 3.0 standard or not…
