Check out this rather interesting DIY project known as the Rotating LED Globe, where it relies on a ATMega Microcontroller to function as seen in the video above. Perfect for megalomaniacs who have every intention to enslave the free world, why not have a mini globe that they can see in 3D format which looks as though it was projected? The globe image was created via a program known as BmpToAscii, where virtually any other image can be converted into Ascii format. We would be stoked to see a Death Star version displayed for all budding Darth Vaders out there.
