By virtue of its size, it is the largest transparent AMOLED display in the world, boasting a transparency level of 30% with the company ready to roll out displays that are as large as 40″, although we don’t know how far into the future that will be. Samsung has hopes that transparent AMOLED displays will soon see action in future vehicle windscreens or even as an advertising platform at malls, although we think the former is by far more practical and cooler.
