The Samsung Galaxy 5, also known as the GT-I5500 for those who are fond of model numbers, has been spotted running around in the wild, where it has been confirmed to run on the Android 2.1 operating system. We also know that it will feature a QVGA TFT capacitive display that is accompanied by Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity, 3G support, a 2-megapixel camera and a microSD memory card slot. Expect a customized version of the Samsung UI to be included, where one can assume it to be TouchWiz but until further details are released, that remains as speculation. Look out for the Samsung Galaxy 5 sometime this July, where it will retail in the region of 200 Euros.
