Shortage Of iPads In The UK Result In Shipping Delay?

Looks like sales of Apple’s iPad is going really well, as the fruity company’s UK site now states the new iPad orders will ship by June 7th, which is a little later than the previous shipping date of May 28th. Apparently loyal folks who pre-ordered before this date change will still be getting the device according to schedule. Aside from that, it’s also worth taking note that Apple’s US site is also listing a 7-10 day waiting period for both the Wi-Fi and 3G model, as opposed to normal items that ship within 24-hours, further confirming that stock of the iPad is rather tight.
