The best digital camera in the world would be pretty useless if you didn’t have any built-in memory or memory card to save your pictures to. Sony obviously recognizes the importance of a good memory card as the company has just introduced its new range of Memory Stick PRO-HG Duo HX memory cards that boast 30MB/sec data transfer speeds. The capacities of these new memory cards start from 8GB and go all the way up to a capacious 32GB. Pricing starts from $59.99, but you already expected it to cost a little more, right? These memory cards will come bundled with the x-Pict Story software that makes it easier for you to share your pictures online, along with data recovery software in case you make a boo-boo with your pictures. If you need an idea of how this memory card will perform, Sony claims that it’s able to capture about 260 images in one minute (JPEG mode/Large [14MB]), which is approximately 160 percent more images than your standard PRO DUO memory stick.
