The Sony Dash will be getting a new software update which will offer USB playback. This is the first Over-The-Air (OTA) update for Sony’s Personal Internet Viewer, where it is tipped to arrive before the month is over. Apart from MP3 playback over USB, it also does picture slideshows as well, not to mention a full-screen app theme and enhanced alarm functionality including adjustable snooze duration and one-touch alarm dismissal. Not only that, Sony has promised the availability of new themes and additional Internet radio options in a June update. We are wondering just how much of a success (or failure) the Sony Dash is, since this device resides somewhere in no man’s land.
