Sprint HTC Hero finally gets Android 2.1 update officially

At long last, the HTC Hero from Sprint will be getting its official Android 2.1 update, letting you be on par (with a greater peace of mind) with those who too the plunged with the leaked 2.1 firmware. Since the update is now available from Sprint, what are you waiting for? Go ahead and make the jump – just ensure you perform a backup of your data since you can’t quite tell when Murphy will strike.
