When it comes to the military, the smarter devices are, the better they are. And the XM-25 Individual Airburst Weapon is a rather cool gun that you’d probably want to have with you if you’re in a sticky situation. This gun is capable of firing a 25mm “smart round” that can be detonated at a pre-programmed distance, spreading shrapnel in all directions. A rangefinder is used to determine how far the target is, allowing the user to correctly adjust when the bullet detonates. You really wouldn’t want to be on the receiving end of this weapon, would you?
