ZTE has new V7 Mobile Internet Device on display

ZTE recently previewed their V7 Mobile Internet Device (MID) at the World Expo in Shanghai, where this slim and lightweight MID features a physical QWERTY keyboard that ought to make SMS and Twitter addicts happy. Apart from that, you get a 4.1″ touchscreen display at 800 × 480 resolution, coupled with a 3.2-megapixels camera that does video recording as well. A Marvell PXA310 806 MHz processor runs at the heart of things, and interestingly enough ZTE has adopted the Nokia Maemo OS instead of Android or other operating systems. You won’t run short of connectivity options with this puppy as it offers 3G CDMA1X, EV-DO and supports HSDPA, while integrating Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS support as well. No word on pricing or availability, but it would be nice to see the V7 hit the States to see how it will perform.
