3M monitor detects 20 points simultaneously

3M does not just roll out Post It Notes, as the company recently paraded its 22″ touch-sensitive monitor which is capable of detecting up to 20 points simultaneously at InfoComm 2010. This 3M model known as M2256PW comes with a projected capacitive touch panel and a trio of capacitive chips for detection purposes, featuring a response time of no longer than 6ms alongside a resolution of 1,680 x 1,050 pixels. Expect this to hit the market with a price point of $1,500, where it will most probably target enterprise markets and not the home user environment.
