Want to be able to monitor the energy consumption in your home, but don’t have any idea where to start? The 2GHz Plug Computer, a product of a partnership between Marvell and 4Home, should help you do just that. The device is essentially a mini Linux computer that can be plugged directly into a power outlet, allowing you to measure the power consumption right from the outlet, giving you a better idea of the amount of energy that’s being used in your home. It supports an optional built-in hard disk drive, along with embedded Marvell Wi-Fi and Bluetooth technologies. Has your electricity bill been eating at your wallet recently?
