Amazon has just announced that they will be delaying the Kindle 2.5 software update by a few weeks at the very least, which might come across as a bummer for folks who are looking forward to this new software update which is touted to offer an easy method of organizing one’s content into collections, pan and zoom through PDFs and protect content using a password. Not only that, the older people out there with difficulty reading fonts on a small display can always look forward to the ability of choosing from two new and larger fonts, not to mention getting more social by sharing passages on Facebook and Twitter right from the Kindle. Well, patience has always been touted to be a virtue, so we don’t see any reason not to exercise this virtue this time round.
