Apple knows that they have a huge hit on their hands with the recently announced iPhone 4 at WWDC 2010, with pre-orders all sold out. One problem from all this? (It is a good problem to have) Apple is having difficulty in procuring enough touch screen displays to meet demand for the smartphone, according to analyst Ashok Kumar at Rodman & Renshaw Inc. The display production bottleneck has limited the total number of iPhones it can ship monthly, where the previous estimate stood at 4 million units, and is now cut to half the amount. Other companies probably won’t mind being in Apple’s position though.
