Features of the Home Energy Controller tablet includes a 800 x 480 capacitive touchscreen display that lets you remotely control thermostats and other appliances over a Wi-Fi or Ethernet connection. It will have an Intel Atom 1.1GHz processor running within which ought to be adequate enough to do the job, since you won’t be using this as a primary computing device in your home. Ubuntu Linux is its operating system of choice, allows you to run videos and access an app store if you want to.
