If you have less than perfect hearing, sometimes it’s hard to know if there is danger approaching. The Danger Alert Enabler concept might be a useful device if you’re insuch a situation. This device features two parts, one is a fashionable-looking wristband, and the other is a micro device that can be clipped onto your belt. The device on your belt is able to hear sounds, which it will then interpret and translate into a pictogram that’s displayed on the wrist receiver. In the event it detects some form of danger, there will be a vibrating notification, which will hopefully give you enough warning to do what’s necessary to get out of harm’s way. Icons that can be displayed on the wrist receiver notify you of the sounds nearby include nature icons such as a bird, thunder, water; ambient sounds such as music, the chatter of voices; and there’s also danger icons such as a siren, construction etc. If it helps people stay safe, why not?
