Eurocom X8100 Leopard could rival workstations

Eurocom’s X8100 Leopard laptop is powerful enough to double up as a workstation, and is probably far more powerful than many average desktops at the moment. Regardless of whether you are a gamer or engineer, the X8100 is capable of delivering quite a punch. After all, you won’t complain about the lack of viewing real estate thanks to its 18.4″ display at 1,920 x 1,080 resolution, while an Intel Core i7 Extreme processor should make short work of number crunching moments. Not only that, you can also choose between single or SLI/CrossFireX configurations (including the ATI HD5870 and NVIDIA GTX 480M), and can store up to a quartet of SATA-300 hard drives in various RAID configurations for up to 3TB of storage. Other connectivity options include DVI port, two USB 2.0 ports, HDMI, Card Reader, LAN-port, a FireWire port, an optical drive, and an ExpressCard slot. Needless to say, a beast of this size will definitely be unforgiving on your shoulders if you decide to tote it around, and it won’t come cheap either.
