
Android-powered tablets seem to be popping up every other hour nowadays and next up is the ODROID-T from Hard Kernel. This 10-inch tablet device attempts to differentiate itself from the rest of the pack by offering 1080p video output capabilities, an ability that is demonstrated by playing a 1080p version of the Toy Story trailer (after the jump). The ODROID-T will be shipping worldwide in early June, though there wasn’t any mention of a price. Technical specifications of the device, according to Hard Kernel, include:
- Samsung S5PC110 Cortex-A8 1Ghz with 512KB L2 cache
- 3D Accelerator SGX540(up to 20M triangles/s and 1000M pixels/s)
- 10.1–inch 1360 x 768 LVDS interface(capacitive touch)
- 1080p video playback via HDMI cable
- Wi-Fi/Bluetooth
- USB2.0 Host
- Accelerometer
- Android 2.1
- External GPS

Android Android is mobile operating system from Google. The software was originally built by a company called Android Inc, that was purchased by Google in 2005. From its modest debuts, Android has become a powerhouse that powers not only smartphones and tablet, but a host of other less high-profile devices and gadgets. Although Android is not a community-driven project, Google does release the source code as open-source under the Apache license.
