Hard Kernel ODROID-T Tablet Can Output 1080p Video

Android-powered tablets seem to be popping up every other hour nowadays and next up is the ODROID-T from Hard Kernel. This 10-inch tablet device attempts to differentiate itself from the rest of the pack by offering 1080p video output capabilities, an ability that is demonstrated by playing a 1080p version of the Toy Story trailer (after the jump). The ODROID-T will be shipping worldwide in early June, though there wasn’t any mention of a price. Technical specifications of the device, according to Hard Kernel, include:

  • Samsung S5PC110 Cortex-A8 1Ghz with 512KB L2 cache
  • 3D Accelerator SGX540(up to 20M triangles/s and 1000M pixels/s)
  • 10.1–inch 1360 x 768 LVDS interface(capacitive touch)
  • 1080p video playback via HDMI cable
  • Wi-Fi/Bluetooth
  • USB2.0 Host
  • Accelerometer
  • Android 2.1
  • External GPS
